What we keep, and why.

Who we are

When you join the updates list

The updates form asks for your email address, an optional name, and which tools you care about. We store those three things, keyed by your email, in a Cloudflare data store that only we can read. We use them for one purpose: to send you a line when a tool ships a release worth knowing about. A few emails a year at most.

We do not sell the list, share it, or add you to anything else. One reply to any email we send takes you off it, and so does an email asking us to delete you.

When you visit this site

The site is served by Cloudflare, which sees your IP address and the pages you request, as any host does. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no cookies of our own on this site.

When you download a plugin

The download needs no account and asks you for nothing. We do not know who downloads it.

When you buy

Checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They collect what a payment needs: your card details, your email and the address information needed to work out tax. Their privacy policy covers that. We never see your card number.

Lemon Squeezy passes us your name, your email, what you bought and your activation code, so we can support you and honour the licence.

When you use a plugin

Nester nests on your machine and Setout measures on your machine. Your artwork and your files never leave it. When you enter an activation code, the plugin sends the code and an identifier for the machine to the licence server to count activations, and nothing else. The free download, before a code is entered, sends nothing.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bluegrey.ai and we will do it. If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

How long we keep things

Your place on the updates list until you ask us to remove it. Purchase records for as long as tax law requires. Nothing else.
