You buy a licence, not a rental. Install it on the machines your tier covers and use it for as long as you like.

Free updates through v1
Every v1.x release is free to licence holders: fixes, speed-ups and new features alike.

Paid v2, at a discount
When a major v2 is worth charging for, owners upgrade at a discount. If it isn't worth it, keep v1 forever.

Proper checkout
Payment, VAT and licence keys will be handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Wiring is in progress; buttons go live with it.
